Every student at Ramona benefits from our membership in an international network of schools sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary.

Through the SNJM Network, Ramona students connect with like-minded young women around the country and across the globe.

In addition to Ramona, the SNJM 学校网络 includes Holy Names schools in Winnipeg, 加拿大; Albany, New York; Tampa, Florida; Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; Oakland, 加州; as well as other schools and ministries in 加拿大 和莱索托, 非洲. Each school is different, yet shares a common commitment to the educational vision and charism of Blessed Marie-Rose Durocher, a commitment to the full development of the human person.

例如, the Youth Justice Forum, most recently held in Montreal, 加拿大, 和奥克兰, 加州, unites Ramona students with young women from SNJM schools in America, 加拿大, 和莱索托. At the Forum they offer their re搜索, 的见解, solutions and action plans on specific social issues. Student delegates also collaborate on service projects, sharpen their global perspective and learn to lead in taking action for justice. When they return home to Ramona, they lead our community in service and action to make a difference.

On-going connections to our sister schools in Lesotho, 非洲, through Skype and service programs, give our students 的见解 into the challenges and joys of life in another part of the world, fostering empathy and understanding.

Singing and making music together is another way Ramona girls connect with their peers in SNJM schools. In 2017, the Ramona Chamber Singers were on the road, traveling to the Bay Area to perform in a number of venues, including the mission at Santa Clara University. A highlight of the trip was a joint performance with the Choir of Holy Names High School in Oakland.

Administrators from network schools meet annually to share common concerns and best practices and to foster connections that benefit our students.
